Understand complexity.
Create clarity.
Move technology forward.

I work at the intersection of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, technology and strategy — with a focus on understanding complexity, creating clarity and turning ideas into practical impact.

01 / About

Technology has been the constant.
Curiosity is what keeps it interesting.

I’m Marc Lemarquis — a technology leader with a background in computer engineering, cybersecurity and technical customer advisory.

For many years, I’ve worked at the intersection of technology, security, business and people. My professional world spans Cybersecurity, PreSales, Consulting and Leadership — from deep technical discussions and complex customer requirements to strategy, team development and turning technology into something that creates real value.

I’m especially interested in how artificial intelligence is changing the way we work, automate decisions and build new products. For me, the interesting part is rarely the technology alone. It is what happens when security, AI and digital strategy meet real-world constraints, people and organizations.

This site is my personal space to collect ideas, perspectives and experiments around cybersecurity, AI, technology, leadership and innovation — independent of any single company, product or role.

02 / Expertise

Fields I keep
coming back to.

These are the themes that have shaped my work for years — and the questions I keep returning to when technology, business and people meet.

01

Cybersecurity

Security that works in the real world.

Cybersecurity strategy, endpoint security, application and device control, Zero Trust principles and the challenge of balancing protection with usability.

02

Artificial Intelligence

AI becomes interesting when it becomes useful.

Generative AI, automation and agents — with a focus on how they can improve workflows, decisions and everyday work beyond individual prompts.

03

Technology

Understand what actually matters.

New platforms, architectures and digital developments — separating durable technological shifts from short-lived hype.

04

Strategy

Technology needs direction.

Connecting technology, customer reality and business objectives to create priorities, decisions and a direction teams can actually execute.

05

PreSales & Consulting

Translate technology into outcomes.

Technical discovery, complex customer requirements, solution design and the translation of technical capabilities into understandable business value.

06

Innovation

Experiment before you institutionalize.

Testing new ideas early, building small prototypes and learning quickly before turning promising concepts into repeatable approaches.

03 / Insights

Thoughts worth
writing down.

A place for perspectives from practice: cybersecurity, AI, technology strategy, leadership and the questions that appear when these worlds overlap.

001
Cybersecurity

When “approved” becomes the attack surface.

Why modern security needs to look beyond what is blocked — and understand what trusted applications, permissions and workflows can enable.

002
Artificial Intelligence

AI agents are easy to demo. Useful agents are harder.

The real work starts with context, boundaries, decisions and measurable outcomes — not with the model itself.

003
Digital Strategy

Innovation should survive contact with reality.

Why small experiments, clear hypotheses and practical feedback often create more progress than large innovation programs.

04 / Labs

Ideas become clearer
when they become tangible.

A workspace for small tools, prototypes and AI experiments. The goal is not to build everything — it is to make ideas tangible enough to learn from them.

Experiment

Security / Visualization

Trust Map

An experiment in making relationships between applications, identities, devices, permissions and data easier to understand visually.
Prototype

AI / Automation

Agent Canvas

A lightweight way to define an AI agent through purpose, context, permissions, boundaries, human checkpoints and expected outcomes.

05 / Contact

Have an idea?
Let’s connect.

For an exchange about cybersecurity, AI, technology, leadership — or simply an idea that is worth thinking through together.
